The Bible urges us to lead lives filled with love, honesty, and peace. These basic lessons are accessible to all, if only we would take them to heart.

VeAta Yisrael, Mah Adonai Shoel Me'Imach?

And now, Israel, what are the things
That God has required of you?
To walk in God's way
To try every day
To do what is just and is true

We must do our part, and strive in our hearts
To follow the Torah's commands
And if we believe
Then we can achieve
The answer is in our own hands

The Mitzvot which are in the Torah
Need not be a mystery to you
They are not far away
They are with you today
For you to observe and to do

I've not hidden them high, way up in the sky
They're not ‘cross a vast, endless sea
But these laws I impart
Can be close to your heart
And through them you can honor Me.ö

Do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.
